Automation! the thing I would always call "keyframing audio" because thats pretty much what we're doing. We're recording values of specific parameters at specific points in time on the timeline. The automation interface can feel a bit new for people coming from premiere or final cut but dont stress, play around in it for a bit and youll be flowing in here in no time!
