Proxies Part 1

Taking the time to make proxies before starting a new project file can be the biggest lifesaver for your workflow! Even with my most powerful computer, I'm still not able to playback certain clip formats in my timeline without experiencing heavy lag . GoPros and drones are notorious for this! If you attempt to edit files like this without making proxies, you're gonna have a bad time and your creativity will be heavily restricted by the lag you will experience when trying to playback these clips. I pretty much always make proxies when working on my projects because it allows me to edit without having to deal with lag!
