Selects

SELECTS!!! :) "You need to sift through the dirt in order to find the gold!" This is one of the most important steps to putting together any project. Organizing all of your clips on timelines and removing all the stuff that doesn't need to be there. I guarantee you that by implementing this into your workflow, you'll be able to create so much faster and it will be much easier to put down your ideas and build sequences this way. I like to compare the process of making selects to a painter getting all of his paint and brushes ready and spread out in front of him before creating. Allowing him to create freely without having to stop in the middle of flow state and go try to find a brush or different paint color. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that I am using some older shortcuts in this video. My newest and most up to date shortcuts are always going to be in the Ravenclaw video. :)
